The Sangari ET series is a modular electrical-engineering training platform built around virtual instrumentation. The ET300 base system - a measurement interface with a full suite of virtual instruments (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, Bode plotter, function generator, adjustable three-phase supply) plus experimenter modules that accept plug-in experiment cards - hosts a family of course packages, each pairing hands-on experiment cards with guided multimedia courseware. The courses cover three-phase systems, measurements with the multimeter, electrical network analysis, and sensor measurement technology for non-electrical quantities: temperature, pressure and force, and displacement, angle and rotational speed. Every experiment runs at safety extra-low voltage, faults can be switched in by relay for diagnosis exercises, and all measured data is acquired, plotted and evaluated on the PC - one workstation carries an entire electrical-engineering lab curriculum.
A modular apparatus for the study of earthing and of the 30 mA residual current circuit breaker in a domestic installation. Diagrams printed on the modules trace the supply from a medium/low-voltage transformer substation to a house. The student plugs resistive dipoles into the modules to set two earth resistances and two fault resistances, then sees from an LED on a printed human figure whether the leakage current would be dangerous. Everything runs at safety extra-low voltage from an isolating transformer, so nobody touches mains voltage during an experiment.
OpenA modular apparatus for the study of a compensated single-phase 230 V transformer with three secondary windings. A variable autotransformer feeds the primary and two variable rheostats load the secondaries. Nine digital display modules show voltage, current and power on the primary and on the secondaries at the same time, so the student runs the no-load, short-circuit and load tests on one panel and reads every value directly.
OpenA modular apparatus for the study of temperature control with a PID controller. A PT100 sensor measures the temperature inside a box heated by a lamp, and a converter turns the reading into a 4-20 mA signal. The PID controller answers through its own 4-20 mA output, which drives the thyristor power dimmer that feeds the lamp. Students wire the whole loop themselves with safety leads.
OpenA modular apparatus for the study of programmable logic controllers and operator panels. Students wire a PLC and an HMI touch panel with safety leads to push-buttons and switches, a limit switch, a PT100 sensor, light and wind sensors, contactors, indicator lights and three 230 V wall lights. They write the control program in ladder diagram, set up the Ethernet network and build the operator screens.
OpenA kit on wheels for the study of the faults that most often stop a three-phase squirrel-cage asynchronous motor with brake. It has two units, a diagnosis panel for the student and a control panel for the teacher, plus the motor and its braking system. The teacher sets a fault. The student finds it by measurement and safety testing.
OpenA self-contained apparatus for the study of the starting methods of a three-phase asynchronous motor. The motor, a powder brake and a tachogenerator sit on a base with wheels next to the electrical cabinet. The student selects the type of start with push-buttons and lamps on the cabinet, and a multifunction measuring unit and a digital speed display show what each method does to the currents, the powers and the run-up of the motor.
