Description
    The platform teaches how non-electrical quantities - temperature, pressure, force and torque - are converted into electrical signals, conditioned and measured. Four experiment cards cover the complete chain. A force/torque card carries strain gauges applied to a bending bar and a torsion rod, wired in configurable bridge circuits and loaded with a calibrated weight set. A temperature card combines a thermally controlled heating element with four different sensor types - Pt100, NTC, KTY and thermocouple - so their characteristics can be recorded and compared on identical conditions. A pressure card provides absolute and differential pressure sensors with measuring bridges, complemented by an external pressure sensor with its own display. A universal measurement amplifier card with adjustable gain and offset, plus integrated constant-current and constant-voltage sources, conditions the sensor signals for acquisition.
Courseware
    The interactive multimedia course - at least 7 hours of directed instruction - moves from amplifier calibration through bridge linearization to the systematic recording of sensor characteristics, with automatic calculation of sensitivity, linearity and measurement error, self-assessed exercises, and Romanian-language support. All signals are acquired and plotted by the ET300 base system's virtual instruments, with accessible measuring points at the input and output of every conditioning block.
