ET571 · KNX Building Automation
The ET571 Experimental Apparatus consists of the following, together with a set of instructional material:
The bus itself, with its supply, its actuators and its operating devices, for the subject of smart home and building management technology.
A room reproduced on a panel, with its lamps, its LED circuits and its blinds, for the subject of lighting control and project work.
A compact panel for air conditioning, heating, ventilation and security, for the subject of in-depth project work on a whole building.
The panel students operate the building from, for the subject of visualisation, monitoring and the message centre.
The KNX project tool, licensed in the cloud, so the laboratory works the day it is delivered.
A basic course in lighting automation, for the subject of building automation fundamentals.
The advanced course, for the subject of complete open loop and closed loop control systems and how complex automation is configured, operated and managed.
The mains feed for the whole apparatus, switched by key, for the subject of safe laboratory practice.
A hand-held instrument for every electrical quantity on the apparatus, from the bus voltage to the lamp current.
Everything that joins the modules to each other, to the supply and to the multimeter.
The whole apparatus sits on this table, modules on the frame above and the rest stored under the worktop.
