Thermodynamics - Teaching Lab Equipment

Sangari's thermodynamics and heat-transfer apparatus cover the core phenomena of an undergraduate heat-transfer course: thermal conduction through metals, combined free and forced convection, radiation heat exchange, and steady-state and transient conduction. A heat-exchanger family provides the three classical geometries - concentric tube, plate, and shell-and-tube - mounted on a common supply unit so that LMTD, effectiveness and NTU analyses can be compared directly across configurations. For thermodynamic cycles, the heat-pump trainer demonstrates the vapour-compression cycle with log-P–h plotting software. Every apparatus is instrumented with digital temperature, heater-power and flow transducers, and streams data to a PC for real-time evaluation and LAN/WLAN remote observation. At the fundamentals end, a temperature-measurement trainer combines the seven classical measuring methods - from liquid and bimetallic thermometers to thermocouples, Pt100 and NTC sensors - on a single panel, including sensor calibration with precision resistors.
