Description
    Recording temperature is one of the fundamental tasks of metrology. The apparatus gives a complete experimental introduction to the subject: seven typical measuring instruments - conventional and electrical - are combined on a clearly arranged benchtop panel, while the loose components (sensors, cables, measuring strips, immersion heater) are housed in a dedicated tool case. Electrically measured temperatures are shown directly on programmable digital displays, and a temperature-proportional 0…10 V analog output allows characteristic curves to be recorded.

Heat Sources and Calibration
    Three heat sources cover the relevant temperature ranges: a power-regulated immersion heater, a laboratory heater with thermostat for water and sand baths up to 425 °C, and a vacuum flask that provides a stable reference temperature. The included digital multimeter and the set of precision resistors are used to calibrate the electrical measuring chains, so students carry out a complete calibration workflow - from raw sensor signal to verified reading. The psychrometer determines relative air humidity from the temperature difference between its dry and wet-bulb thermometers.
